Sexual harassment is a form of sex discrimination that violates federal and state laws and university policy. Although sexual harassment is not criminal conduct, except in instances of assault, and therefore not a matter handled by the police, sexual harassment is prohibited at Tufts University. Therefore, Tufts University provides several resources where victims of sexual harassment can report the prohibited conduct. Such conduct can be reported to the Office of Equal Opportunity or to any of the Title IX Liaisons located on your campus. For more information and resources concerning sexual harassment, see the Tufts University Sexual Harassment Policy at the Office of Equal Opportunity.
