Request a Report

The Tufts University Department of Public Safety understands that records generated about crimes and calls for service are of interest to the community. The Department is also committed to ensuring that individual rights are protected as required under the law and that information is disseminated accurately, without prejudice, and in such a manner as not to jeopardize an ongoing investigation or the safety of an individual.

The links below can be used to request a report or a background check online. Generally, all requests for information are reviewed by the Director of Public Safety within 10 business days. Please note that the Department does not disseminate video security records.
