Tufts University has received increased reports of scam calls targeting students. These calls come from scammers posing as law enforcement and government entities who threaten legal action if they are not given photos or money.
Tufts University has received increased reports of scam calls targeting students. These calls come from scammers posing as law enforcement and government entities who threaten legal action if they are not given photos or money.
TUPD wants to remind all students that law enforcement agencies would never call asking for payment of any type, or threaten legal action against any student. To verify the legitimacy of a call, please call TUPD at 617-636-6610.
