TUPD has received reports of an uptick in breaking and enterings in the Medford/Somerville area.

There have been ongoing reports made to Tufts Police and local law enforcement agencies over the last month regarding an increase in breaking and enterings that have occurred in buildings and residences near the Medford/Somerville campus.


While we have been closely monitoring the situation, the Tufts Department of Public Safety wants to remind all community members to keep personal property securely locked. This includes doors, windows, and any other entry points of a home or residence. If you experience any suspicious activity, please reach out to TUPD by calling 617-627-6911.
