Blue Light Telephones

The blue-light telephone network exists for your safety. The phones are prominently marked by a blue light above.

These phones are located near the entrance to most residence halls and various locations throughout campus.

Blue phones may be affixed to a university building or located within a stand-alone tower positioned along well-traveled pedestrian thoroughfares.

In an emergency press the red button to automatically dial the emergency line. 

For non-emergencies use the black on/off button and dial 73030 to contact the Department of Environmental Safety 24/7. Note that these phones will limit calls to approximately 90 seconds. Please dial again if your call is disconnected.
